Artist’s Book
This unique artist’s book and folio cover are handcrafted using up-cycled materials of Marimekko fabric and commercial (100% cotton) envelope inserts. The stencils for pochoir are hand-drawn and hand-cut using pastel, pencil and inks from The Birmingham Pen Company for coloring. Poetry is written by the artist and the use of archival digital printing for text and imagery is set individually for each page. The binding is a simple three-hole Japanese binding that slips into the case. The book measures 7.5″ x 4″ and the folio case 9″ x 4.75″ (approx).
