A childhood love of books and drawing are my life’s central threads. The gift of aging is permission to “slow down.” This offers time for reflection, thoughtfulness, albeit in my own case, smaller efforts to expend energy. Creating small artist’s books combined with my grounding in the calligraphic arts is the perfect way for me to garner the essence of my life thus far, and combine it into a tangible form.
